Calne Pig Parade: Eningen Pig

In September, to include Eningen in the Calne Pig Parage, a blank paper mache pig was sent, along with a pig specially designed for Eningen. 

The Eningen-designed pig has now returned!

Ideas, considerations on the process and design:

The basis is the colours of the logo of Eningen (green, white, black) and the city flag of Calne (green, blue, yellow, white) with acrylic paints.

The coloured areas are partly represented as puzzle pieces (community life and culture as diversity are made up of many different offers, facilities, ideas, actions, projects, etc.).

• The ringed tail, the inner ears and the front of the snout were deliberately left in the color "pig-pink" in keeping with the species.

Each side (flank) of the animal is decorated/illustrated with collage elements of sights or typical, local elements of the respective community. - ...A picture note shows the occasion (50 years arts and music festival).

• In addition (as a little gag) the logos or coat of arms/flag as earrings.

• plus one or two other funny image elements (neck, backside...)

on the lower abdomen: own identification logo "Monkey" stamped (noted on all own works) with signature abbreviation and date.

(All surfaces lightly sprayed with fixative spray)
