Welcome to our website celebrating Calne's twin towns of Charlieu (France), Eningen-unter-Achalm (Germany), and Caln Township (USA).

Town twinning started after the Second World War as a way of building strong links and friendships with communities in other countries. We are fortunate to have strong connections with our Twin Towns, both those in Europe and our namesake, Caln Township, which was founded by settlers from Calne.

Not only will this site provide information about the history of our twinning relationships, but it will celebrate the current friendships and shared communities.
